The Lake George Region Women for W.I.N. Inc, formerly Lake George Business & Professional Women (or simply B.P.W.), is a group of women that are dedicated in helping “Women in Need” and their families in the greater Lake George Region communities including Warren, Washington, Saratoga, and Essex Counties. For over 25 years, the “Lake George Region Women for W.I.N” have held fundraising events to help these women & families.
About Lake George Region Women for W.I.N
The Lake George Region Women for W.I.N. (Women in Need) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that helps local women who are in need of assistance. These women may be the sole support of a family, living alone, elderly, married, divorced, or widowed. Any proceeds raised, provide these women & their families with food, fuel, clothing, bills, medical expenses, supplies, and so much more!
Each year, numerous cases are submitted by a variety of sources including churches, schools, and agencies; which then are carefully & confidentially reviewed by the “Women in Need” committee. The budget for these cases are solely relied on private donations & fundraiser events. The number of cases that are taken on completely depend on the amount of money raised for the year.
Two annual “Women in Need” fundraiser events help with the WIN fund: Women In Need (WIN) Golf Tournament in June and Holiday Party & Auction in December. Anyone & everyone are welcomed to attend either fundraiser event (find more details on them below). Please Note: if you cannot attend but would like to still help, monetary donations are always welcomed & accepted all year long. Any amount helps!

Women In Need (WIN) Golf Tournament:
The “Women in Need (WIN) Golf Tournament” is held annually in June at Cronin’s Golf Resort – located along beautiful Hudson River in Warrensburg NY. This benefit event, to help “Women and Families In Need,” features a golf tournament & lunch, followed by an awards dinner & auction. Option for dinner & auction only also available. Holiday Party & Auction:
The Lake George Region Women for WIN hosts their Holiday Party & Auction in December. Enjoy entertainment, cocktails, sit down dinner, stocking stuffer, silent auction, and a spectacular live auction with auctioneer. Those who wish to attend can bring an unwrapped gift or gift certificate to be auctioned off. Other gifts & gift certificates are generously donated by local businesses & professionals. The Holiday Auction takes place at Mario’s Restaurant at 429 Canada Street in Lake George Village. For reservations, Call Nancy at (518) 668-2665.
