The Dog Beach in Lake George Village, NY is a favorite destination designed exclusively for dogs and their owners to enjoy the lake and the sandy beach during the warm summer months. This is a free public beach that provides a safe, protected environment for owners and their four-legged friends to have some down time together!
The dog beach is located on Beach Road in the heart of Lake George Village between the Lake George Steamboat Company and Million Dollar Beach, and across the street from Battlefield Park. Parking is available on Beach Road; look for the parking lot across the street from the Lake George Steamboat Company Steel Pier (where they usually keep a bowl of fresh water for passing pets), or try the lot across from Million Dollar Beach Bathhouse (parking fees).
The new Lake George Dog Beach was adopted by local village shop, The Dog Cabin – a place to find affordable dog essentials, located at 32 Montcalm Street in Lake George Village (only 3 scenic blocks from the dog beach).
The Lake George Dog Beach is open from Memorial Day Weekend thru Labor Day Weekend. Please be sure to be a super owner and clean up after your pet!
