Experience the Lake George Winter Carnival in Lake George NY! There’s no better way to enjoy the Adirondack winter life than at this annual Lake George winter festival, a unique Lake George tradition that occurs every Saturday and Sunday during the month of February. Location? Most events take place at Shepard Park on Canada Street (Rt.9) and on Beach Road in Lake George Village.
First weekend in February
The official jump start weekend to the 1st Winter Carnival weekend! Enjoy a great winter weekend packed full of family friendly events! Weekend 1 specialty events include: Opening ceremonies (Sat. at 12Noon), Chili Cook-Off (Sat. at 12:30PM), Outhouse Races (Sat. starting at 12:30PM), Winter Carnival Family Parade (Sat. at 4PM) – followed by a Bon Fire on the Beach, and fireworks over the lake (Sat. at 6:30PM). Also, don’t miss out on all the Lake George Winter Carnival’s ongoing weekend activities (on Saturday & Sunday) listed below.

Weekend 2 specialty events include: 4×4 Truck Races (Sat. & Sun.), Snowmobile Poker-Run/ Scavenger Hunt (Sat.), BBQ cook-off (Sat. at 12Noon), Ice Diving Demonstrations (Sat. & Sun. all day), Flag Football Competition (Sat.), Restaurant/Tavern Competition (Sun. at 1PM), Bon Fire & Smores on the Beach (Sat. at 4PM), Fireworks over the lake (Sat. at 6:30PM), and all the ongoing weekend activities listed above.
Third Weekend in February
Weekend 3 specialty events include: NY State AMA Sanctioned Motorcycle & ATV Ice Race Championship (Sat. & Sun.), Giant Kite Flying on Ice (Sat), ATV Poker Run & Scavenger Hunt (Sat.), Chowder Cook Off (Sat. at 12Noon), Ice Diving Demos (Sat. & Sun), Glacier Golf Tournament (Sun. 12-4PM), Bonfire & Smores on the Beach (Sat. at 4PM), Fireworks over the lake (Sat. at 6:30PM), and all the ongoing weekend activities listed above.

This is the final weekend of the Lake George Winter Carnival!
