Glenwood Manor Antiques & More

Glenwood Manor Antiques & More has evolved from an Antique Shop to a destination shopping complex. The antique shop was established in 1983. We are located at 60 Quaker Road in Queensbury, NY. The business is in a beautiful Georgian Manor which is part of the total shopping experience. During this last year there have been major improvements to the building’s interior, including painting rooms, refinishing hardwood floors, new carpeting, uncovering windows, and opening fireplaces to name a few. There are 3 floors and 34 rooms with tons of nooks and crannies.

In order to survive in the world of antiquing, we followed national trends by allowing a small percentage of collectibles and retro items. These items are not misrepresented as antiques and in most cases are marked as such. There have been major changes in dealers also. We have added 27 new, young enthusiastic dealers to our 8 remaining dealers after major reorganizing in December 2011. Well behaved children and small pets are openly welcomed, and usually there are treats available for them. The best effort is made to offer a wide spectrum of antiques from furniture, glass, crocks, jewelry, Adirondack, fishing, tools, toys, paintings, prints, clocks, records, household and much more, and all at realistic, affordable prices.

There have been 2 other additions to our complex including an upscale gift shop, “Aurea’s Unique Gifts” and a café, “Thyme Café,” all under one roof. Aurea’s Unique Gifts offers many locally crafted items such as Bark Eaters Chocolate, jewelry, quill art, pens, purses, scarfs, home décor, cards and unusual items from around the world. The patio now offers garden and yard items. Thyme Café serves breakfast and lunch with daily specials, a gluten free menu, awesome desserts and weekend “all you can eat” pancake specials. Thursday evenings they are open later for a $10.99 weekly dinner special.

You can spend an hour or a day with us. If that isn’t enough, we are located just off the bike trail, with an ice cream shop “Sprinkles” in our backyard. Now what more could you ask for in the ultimate green shopping experience.
