Shows Not To Miss

The Lake George Region boasts exceptional shows & magnificent concerts throughout the season for visitors and locals to enjoy, and this weekend is no exception! Don’t miss out on three wonderful performances… from an all-star benefit concert – to a family fun theatrical performance – to a world-class quality chamber music concert… all happening right here in the Lake George Region! Feed The Hungry Concert (July 28) at the Lake George Forum with performances by the Grammy winning The Kentucky Headhunters and the Steven L Smith with special guest Christine Ohlman from the Saturday Night Live Band. Some proceeds of this concert will benefit local organizations: Saratoga Homeless Shelter, and The Wait House in Glens Falls. Doors open at 6:30PM and the concert starts at 7:30PM. The Servant of Two Masters (July 29-30) a family fun, romantic comedy by Carlo Goldoni and presented by G.J. Ruggiero Productions. This weekend is the last show that this Comic Masterpiece of Commedia D’ell Arte Theatre will be playing at the Lake George Forum in Lake George – 2200 State Route 9 in Lake George at 7PM.  Visit www.LakeGeorgeForum.net or call (518) 668-2205 for this weekend’s tickets. Summerland Music Society (July 30) a quality chamber music concert, called “I Hate Music,” performed by musicians Carol Minor (piano), Christopher Bush (clarinet), Gabriela Diaz  (violin), and Hillary Parker (soprano). Enjoy listening to music by composers Mozart, Stravinsky, Bernstein, Gershwin and Lawrence Dion (a world premiere). This Summerland Music Society concert will be taking place at the historic Hudson River Music Hall, 122 Main Street in Hudson Falls at 7:30PM. This renovated 1873 courthouse building is the perfect venue for a chamber music performance. You can purchase tickets at the door on the day of the event for $15 (floor seating), $17.50 (balcony seating), and $10 (for students or seniors).
