“The Lake George Antique Boat Museum’s purpose is to preserve, interpret, teach and interactively exhibit the history of life on Lake George through the vessels and vehicles used there, and their significant impact on the economic, social and cultural heritage of the Adirondack region and the nation.” From the headquarters of Sagamore Road in Bolton Landing, the Lake George Antique Boat Museum compiles a registry of boats, autos and horse-drawn carriages manufactured or used in the Adirondack region while also conducting a search for a permanent facility to house their future collections.
