    Celebrate the Fourth of the July throughout the Lake George Region! Here is a list of spectacular fireworks displays & Independence Day Weekend Celebrations happening during the 2011 holiday weekend in the following towns, villages & cities: Lake George, Bolton Landing, Glens Falls, Saratoga Springs, Albany, Lake Luzerne, Thurman, Schroon Lake, Salem, Greenwich, and Granville, as well as Six Flags’ Great Escape Fun Park & Fort Ticonderoga!

    Reading of the Declaration of Independence (as it was done in 1776), Citizenship Ceremony, Park Ranger Joe Craig portrays a 1776 town crier with news of American Independence, and toasting the 13 “new” states/ 10AM (Citizenship Ceremony), 1PM and 3PM (Readings of Declaration of Independence).
