“Eat Dessert First at Nina’s Sweet Shoppe!”

Opened in 1956 as Lake George’s first candy shop, not only were we the first, we’re still the best candy shop in Lake George! After a full ‘facelift’ in 2007, the shop was renamed nina’s after the original owner’s granddaughter… a tradition carried on for a second generation.

There’s something here for everyone… a tempting selection of ice cream and (real!) frozen custard, mouth watering fudge, nostalgic old-fashioned candies, hot roasted almonds (you can smell them cooking from a block away!) calorie-worthy desserts, and… of course… caramel corn made with the original recipe. Enjoy your treats on our deck… the best seats on the street to people watch!

We’re happy to supply favors for special parties and weddings. And our smiling staff is ready to help in any way that we can to make your stay in Lake George a happier and more memorable one!

Nina’s Sweet Shoppe is located right on Canada Street/ Route 9, in the heart of Lake George Village… where you will find “Calorie-Worthy Desserts” under the red & white striped awning!
