Lake George Village presents the 2nd Annual “Festival For the Lake” – a huge three day block party event to benefit S.A.V.E. Lake George – happening during this fall season – September 19-21, 2014… rain or shine! Everyone is invited to attend “Lake George’s Largest Festival” featuring Sensational Live Music, Delicious Food & Drinks, and Incredible Activities expected to take place at the new Charles R. Wood Festival Space in Lake George Village. Plus, there’s a silent auction & prizes!

The following was the schedule for the 1st annual event.  Please check back again for the updated 2014 schedule.

Live Music:

Enjoy spectacular live music by regional musicians, appearing on two stages:

BEN & JERRY’S STAGE – Shepard Park

Friday:
4-6PM – Rich Ortiz
6-9PM – Stony Creek Band

Saturday:
1-3:15PM – Blues House Rockers
3:40-6:30PM – Big Block Blues Band
6:30-9PM – Out of Control Rhythm & Blues

Sunday:
12-2PM – Mississippi Hot Dogs
2-4:30PM – Soul Session

BLAIS PARK STAGE – Beach Road

Friday:
6-8PM – T-N-T Band

Saturday:
12-4PM – Across the Pond (Beatles Tribute Band)
5-9PM – Jonathan Newell Band

Sunday:
12-4PM – Headwall Band

 

Food & Drinks:

There will be no shortage of delicious food & drinks during this first annual festival. Enjoy the Giant Food Courts (in Shepard Park on Canada Street, and Beach Road). In addition, there will be craft beer & wine tasting tents.

Shepard Park Food Court vendors:
Chef Briton’s “Pie On Wheels,” Barnsider Barbeque, Kona Ice – Make Your Own, “Hot Dog Cart Lady”

Beach Road Food Court vendors:
Northbranch Farms Barbeque, Pizzeria Mangia, King Neptune’s Grill, American Legion Sausage

 

Activities:

Everyone of all ages will enjoy the variety of activities throughout the weekend including: Arts & Crafts Show, Las Vegas Casino Games, street entertainers, hot air balloons, parasail rides, boat rides, antique speed boat rides  – as well as great kids activities: Green Mountain amusement rides, children’s zoo, bounce houses, pony rides, walk thru balloons, face painting, “catch a fish pond,” and more!

Saturday only: Pedal Cab Races (2PM), 5K Moonlight & Glow/ Flashlight Run (7:30PM), & Fireworks (9:15PM) over the Lake.

 


• Festival Hours:  Friday 4-10PM, Saturday 12Noon-10PM, Sunday 12Noon-5PM.  Saturday fireworks at 9:15PM.

• Location:  The 2014 location is expected to be held at the new Charles R. Wood Festival Space, Westbrook Road off Route 9, Lake George.

• Admission: $10 per person (includes first beverage), and children 16 & under are free.

• Arts & Craft Show Hours:  Friday 12Noon-10PM, Saturday 9AM-9PM, Sunday 9AM-5PM.

• Free Parking: There will be no meters or parking fees during this weekend, as all public parking will be free!

All Proceeds benefit S.A.V.E. Lake George.
