Balloon Festival & Moonglow

The four day Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival is continuing its annual tradition September 22-25, 2011. Enjoy various beautiful hot air balloons in flight, performances by local bands, food vendors, craft show, kids activities, aircraft display, Moonglow & fireworks. Most festivities take place at Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in the Town of Queensbury. Other events are located at Crandall Park in the city of Glens Fall as well as on Beach Road in Lake George Village.

The Annual Moonglow (an evening balloon glow illumination) is a popular highlight to the Adirondack Balloon Festival, and takes place on Beach Road in Lake George Village on Saturday Night at 8PM. Other 2011 Moonglow activities include live music and a wonderful display of fireworks over the southern basin of the lake.
