There’s certainly no shortage of things happening this June in the Lake George Region… especially during the first week! If you roll into town this first June weekend, you should be pleasantly surprised to see the area brimming with tow trucks, Elvises, and motorcycles. Yes, that’s right! It’s an overlap of three conventions… ESTRA Tow Show, Lake George Elvis Festival, and Americade… making this weekend and the events of the first week in June extraordinary & spectacular!

The Empire State Towing & Recovery Association (ESTRA) is celebrating their 30th Tow Show Anniversary at the Fort William Henry Hotel & Conference Center, located directly in the heart of Lake George Village, with seminars, contests, demos & entertainment (thru Sunday, June 2). Simultaneously, the Lake George Elvis Festival is celebrating their 10th Anniversary honoring the King of Rock & Roll with performances by professional & amateur Elvis Tribute Artists. Enjoy these Elvis entertainers at various Lake George venues including the Lake George Steamboat Co., The Boardwalk Restaurant, Shoreline Restaurant, King Neptune’s, Capt. Dick’s Crab Shack, The Tiki Resort, among others; not to mention the Elvis Tribute Artist Competition at the Lake George Forum (thru Sunday, June 2). Moreover, it’s the 31st Anniversary of Americade! New for this year, Americade starts Saturday, June 1 – extending the “World’s Largest Motorcycle Touring Rally” to eight full days! By starting a few days earlier, motorcycle enthusiasts can attend the even bigger Motorcycle Tour Expo, making it the largest in the United States. As Americade continues throughout the week and into the following weekend (thru Saturday, June 8), this massive convention hosts an endless variety of events, demos, rides and festivities on and off the bike. There’s even a chance to win your very own motorcycle (choose from a brand new Harley-Davidson or Honda Goldwing), hosted by the Lake George Rotary. Just buy a ticket from the Lake George Rotary Charity Motorcycle Drawing at various locations throughout Lake George and you can be a winner! More Bike events continue during the beginning of June. Just north of Lake George Village up Route 9, check out The Warrensburg Bike Rally, also taking place June 1-9, featuring vendors and activities at the Warren County Fairgrounds on Schroon River Road. Also, don’t miss Bolton Bikes and Bands (June 7-8) in Bolton Landing, just 10 miles north of Lake George Village up Route 9N. Here, at Bolton’s Rogers Memorial Park, enjoy live music by “Bobby Dick & Suzie Q” 2-5PM on Friday, and “Collette & the Mudcats” 2-5PM on Saturday, as well as the Arts & Crafts Show 10AM-5PM on Friday & Saturday.
