    The Lake George Winter Carnival is a special annual winter festival event during weekends in February. The 2013 season includes snowmobile races, outhouse races, snowmobile rides, ATV ice races, cook-offs, children’s activities, bon fires, wagon rides, tube sliding, helicopter rides, games, polar plunges, fireworks, and much more.     Other fun and exciting events are found throughout the entire region – including ice hockey games at the Lake George Forum & Glens Falls Civic Center, family winter snowshoe & winter programs at Up Yonda Farm, skiing & snowboard clinics & programs at Gore Mountain, and kid’s programs at the World Awareness Children’s Museum, as well as benefit dinners, softball tournaments, performances, concerts, and many more enjoyable events.
