Brave & daring individuals of all ages celebrate the New Year by taking a dip or plunging into the frigid lake along Shepard Park.     Lake George Arts Project’s Black Velvet Art Party

    Celebrate black velvet art at Lake George Arts Project’s Black Velvet Art Party 2011. Enjoy a wonderful evening at this 23rd annual benefit event – which will include live music by the band, “Groove Therapy,” dancing, games, silent auction, awards for original black velvet art and attire, and more (this year’s theme will be “Bling”). The silent auction items will include original works of art donated by local artists; and the event’s proceeds will support the exhibitions at the Lake George Arts Project’s Courthouse Gallery. Be sure not to miss this exceptional party on Saturday, November 5th at the Roaring Brook Ranch in Lake George, from 8PM to Midnight.
