    Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Lake George Village – CINCO BY THE LAKE – a second annual event! Enjoy a variety of family fun festivities scheduled for Saturday, the 5th of May – featuring kids activities, mustache contest, pinatas, and giveaways. In addition, don’t miss the highlighted events including Tequila Tasters (starting on Friday, May 4th at 5PM), Chili Eating Contest (Saturday at 3PM), and Food Demonstrations (Saturday at 4PM).     Maple Sugar House Tours – Weekends in March 2012

    How is pure maple syrup made? Tour some Adirondack maple sugar houses & farms to find out! Maple sugaring, as they call it, is the process of turning the sap from maple trees to delicious maple sugar & syrup by tapping, collecting & boiling it.     Bands ‘N Beans 2012

    Interested in eating some delicious homemade chili made by area restaurants while listening to great music performed by local musicians? If so, you won’t want to miss out on the Lake George Arts Project’s Bands ‘N Beans! This annual major fundraiser event features original chili recipes by a variety of the region’s restaurants including: Blue Moose Tavern, Dunham’s Bay Lodge, The Georgian, The Inn at Erlowest, Log Jam Restaurant, Pablo’s Burrito Cantina, and many more. Enjoy musical performances by the Stony Creek Band, Rich Ortiz & Friends, Groove Therapy, Dirt Cheap, Chris Carey & Tim Wechgelaer, Phil Camp, and Chris Ballini.
